Hello all,
I'm after loaning a 100mm to 75mm tripod bowl adapter. Like the one on this site:

I've got a pair of carbon fibre legs that I'm taking out to Italy for a week but am replacing the heavy Vision 10 head with a lighter Pro 5. It sits in as is but is only useful for static shots.
If anyones willing to loan / hire me one then that would be ideal. I would fork out £50 but I'm probably never going to use it again afterwards.
Thank you

nothing to lend, I'm afraid but around the £25 mark so better than £50
Thanks, Dave.
Another regular user has been in touch who's very local to me and has one to loan
If it comes up again I'll definitely look up Hague kit.
Just weighed the tripod.....still 6kg!!!! That is a 1/4 of my allowance already gone!!!
I head of a dodge that may or may not still work, depending on airline.
Some airlines used to give extra allowances for 'sports equipment" and someone shoved a tripod into a golf club case .
I don't remember the details and it may have been bull*** but maybe worth a go?
or fill the legs with helium
Mmmm interesting but I am flying with Easy Jet and they can be very strict. When I flew from Madeira last summer I noticed the carry on dimensions were different when explained in English but 5cm bigger when explained in Portuguese. Seems unfair. Ho hum!!!
I might just get the boss to get me more allowance.
