On 'paper' this seems like a bargain 24" Samsung monitor for the specs - do you think?
Regards
seems like every one thought it was a bargain - shows as 'out of stock'

That is weird. Yesterday it was showing as a new model due in shortly (but only 53 of them in the first batch) and they were taking pre-orders. Must be good? The model was mentioned on a gamers site as one to watch out for.
These 24" units are available elsewhere on pre-order but at a higher price. Caught my attention because it seemed to be 1080p capable at a lower cost than the much smaller/lower spec LCD I bought 15 months ago.

(The Samsung 24")
Time for a new monitor on Tom's desk I feel - and this one looks to be good at 90 quid delivered. Any thoughts from the DVDoc team?

Tom - just curious how you came to add to a three-year-old thread??
Looks like a bargain Samsung 21.5" monitor though. I suppose it's difficult to tell until you actually see it in the flesh though?
Always better to add to an existing thread rather than start a new one, so I simply searched for 'Samsung monitor'.
VGA only? I'd look for one with VGA+DVI+HDMI

is the one i choose recently as it is LED backlit (low power consumption), has HDMI, DVI and VGA, and it's one of the few thin LED type monitors which has a vesa mount built into the back allowing you to use it on a wall mount stand.
I'm pretty happy with it, though it is obviously not a patch on the expensive IPS dell / sony monitors i have, but it is good value for money, and perfectly acceptable for use as a normal desktop monitor / telly connected to a freesat / freeview box with hdmi.
Excellent answer, thank you.
