whats the difference between the USB 2 and firewire (i understand one is quicker then the other)? but does it effect you when editing from video footage stored on the hardrive?

Hi there

Firewire always seems to be the preferred option but I have editied footage via USB 2 on many occasions on a G5 without any problems at all.

Cheers
