Analog out put was Ok (on TV and computer monitors) until I got a green screen on my computer monitor and on the TV... I checked Output settings and it was set to Digital I put it on Analog and Digital... I still got that green screen on both monitors. Now in Fast I got only the first few frames of a clip then back to the green. Going back to Output settings, the options: Digital, Analog and Digital and Analog are grey and inaccessible . Does anybody has an idea how to solve that mystery ? Also, what is the purpose of IRE 7.5?

IRE 7.5 is the standard black level for NTSC broadcast in the USA. In general, MiniDV use 0 IRE for black.

Did anyting ese change on your sustem just before analog output went south? I gathe that you are not seeing the DV.now AV splash screen either. Does your system still see the DV.now AV card?

Yes, I do. In the mean time had to reinstall the whole setup. Now, I can monitor my clips from Adobe Source window (left one) but not from Program window (right one), I forgot the settings... Exported movie works fine. So now how to play from the Time line in Adobe in the right Program window and the Tv monitor at the same time ???

I had a separate issue with devie control. Somethign had trashed the driver so I had NO DV Control Analog I/O was fine. Reinstalled the driver restored things. Something trashed a driver or registry entry.

When I dump to tape from Premiere 5.1c, I usually render the selection, then hit the Play button in the under the right screen. Simple and it works nicely for what I am doing.
