Howdy,
I am currently have an Athelon 1.2 Ghz, 256 MB RAM machine, Windows 2000 (O/S).
I recall from Dazzles Tech Support discussion group (I can not find that on the dazzle.com site any more) that the Athelon chip set was NOT recommended for DV.now AV.
Is this still true for the 1.6 release?
Are there any users that have had any experience with Athelon and DV.now AV and what are your recommendations for this hardware/software with Athelon?
Thank You.
DrRudy.
I am using a Gigabyte GA-7IX with Athlon/650, AMD chipset. It works Dumped a 1 hour project to tape this past weekedn - no problems.
Some VIA chipsets were problematic. Ther is a post in the DV.now or DV.now AV section going back to mid january that lists the results of some chipset tests.
I have a 900 Tbird, VIA KT7-RAID, 128MB RAM and Win2000 and only problem I have had so far is that sometimes when I restart the computer it says that there is new FireWare etc. hardware recognized and I have to reinstall the Fast Forward and than it works fine.

I have a KT& Raid with 1GH Athlon and it does this all the time. I am having trouble with the sound card as it is a Soundblaster Live and they just do not seem to mix. I ahve yet to be able to capture any video however.
