This may be of interest to users of Avid Xpress pro (I believe it may apply to all versions of that software).
Avid appear to have dropped the price of Media Composer and dropped Xpress Pro as a product line.
Media Composer can now be purchased for £1,869.00 including Boris Continuum Complete 4.2.2 Universal , Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 & Sonic DVDit version 6.0 .
The really good news for myself and hopefully others, is Avid are offering an upgrade path from Xpress Pro to Media Composer 2.8 for £365.
