BBC Scotland is in the process of decommissioning its Queen Margaret Drive Broadcasting centre and lots of kit is up on the Goindustry.com web site. Much of the stuff may not be of too much interest to non broadcast people but there are a lot of monitors, stereo PPM boxes, loudspeakers, dual height work stations etc., audio mixers etc.

Blimey! You're behind the times! They've been at Pacific Quay for weeks, now. Their radio and TV transmissions have been plagued by technical problems since they moved. Well, that's maybe a bit of an exaggeration but they have certainly had quite a few technical problems since they started broadcasting from PQ. Their neighbours, stv, seemed to make the transition last year fairly seamlessly.

Reminds me of General franco's last words..

On his death bed he asked

"what's that noise?"

"It's the people of Spain El Generalisimo. - They want to say goodbye"

"Why....Where are they going?"
