Hi,

What mic would you recommend for a Sony DSR 130.

A mic that can look after itself. Connect it and forget about it. Something that can cope with the low and the high noise.

Thanks in advance

MKH 60 - works in all weathers, high quality, has a 10dB pad (switched) when working in noisy surroundings. Needs 48V phantom powering.

K6 System - K6 with ME 66 will do a good job at a lower price, but may need padding on a loud environment. But very flexible with the interchangeable head options. Powered by internal AA battery or external 12-48V phantom.

There really is not a microphone that really does what you require, but the MKH 60 comes closest.
