If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware of software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

leave the usb camera out of the equation and make sure you put the adsl modem into a port you won't remove it from.
you may now need to re-install the drivers , but the unit should now be stable.

now do a system restore point.

add the videocam to the port furthest from the adsl modem.
see if it works now.

if it dumps again , send me a copy of the dump file c:\windows\memory.dmp and i'll see if i can work out exactly which driver file is causing the problem.

system restore is a part of windows xp.

i have mine switched off , but you would need to make sure yours was enabled before adding the drivers for the usb vid cam.
