Impact, Ebay is usually good as with a small light (ie the Canon VL10i) not much can go wrong with them. However if you want say a Paglight C6 or better then try:-
productiongear.co.uk
H Preston
DVC
or see if anybody offers you one on this forum. Make sure you know what you want as in what type of video work you intend to use the light for & go for the right one!!
Good luck I hope you find what you want.

Also have a look at http://www.dsmpower.tv/video-lights/professional-video-light.htm
I'm using one on my Sony 390 with a D plug and it's brilliant!

Yes Arthur I have a Sony 390 which has a D connector but if you speak to David at DSM I'm sure it comes with an external battery or he will supply a lead to run from a battery belt.

VL10 does a good job fr such a cheap package and has the added advantage if youve got an XM1/2 or XL1/2 that it uses the same batteries. I use one on an XL1s for night time interviews at sports events and is great, the light it's self is very light so it's only the weight of the battery that upsets the cameras balance.
