Can I export DIF files with Adobe After Effects?

I´m a user of Adobe After Effects and I have another DV editor (Pinnacle). Now I´m working in a small movie production enterprise with a Pentium IV and DV Now.
DV Now works with de DIF files and my after effects seems not to work with those files.
Anyone knows what´s is the problem?
