Hi all,
Your thoughts would be appreciated on this http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BPZfO2xyFFQ&fmt=18
or better still on Vimeo (for Dave see below!) here http://www.vimeo.com/2000440
It was a rush job filmed, edited and uploaded to youtube in under 2 days and it may have suffered a little as a result.

Won't load here, took 15 mins just to play the first 15 secs, checked my BB - speed was over 6.7meg so it's not my connection.

Plays ok for me, well kinda, first 30 secs or so took about 45 secs to load and run but, very very good quality for a youtube clip, best I have seen on youtube.

Cheers John

Played ok for me (vimeo version), a well presented film about an emotional subject, where ever you happen to live. I enjoyed it. Tony C.

Sorry Mike - I've got to own up here :o

Youtube stuff now plays fine (forgot I'd locked my son out on the router for all Youtube stuff!)

Hi Michael, YouTube seems to encode to 2 different qualities. If you upload in a sufficiently high quality in the first place it then gives you the opportunity to watch the clip in whichever quality you like, BUT it defaults to the lowest quality. So when you cut and paste your clip somewhere (eg here) if you add &fmt=18 to the end of the url YouTube defaults to the higher quality.

I thought this might be useful. Can't remember where i found it (probably here) but it's the info i used to encode my video for YouTube.
