I was able to capture clips in Fast.forward.
I see the clips with the red dot in each clip.
What is procedure to send them to hard drive and have the green arrow show up? I understand this has to happen before I can do any trimming before sending the finished clips to Premiere 6.

The red dot means that you have the "information" for the clip (i.e., start/stop time, etc.), but not the clip itself. The next step, with the camera connected via firewire and in VCR mode, is to select "Batch capture" in FF with all the clips you want to capture selected. The camera should be controlled to go to the time code position for each clip, capture that clip to disk and go on to the next clip. Make sure you have DV input selected, not analog.

Got it and worked just fine. Thanks very much.
