Please be aware buying anything from ALDI. The have a very bad after sell service if something goes wrong and check your item that it says what it is is in the box.
many people have been caught with the television HDReady.

We've bought loads of good bargains from Aldi. Their 'catch' is merely that they advertise their unbelievable offers and hundreds pile into the shops to find they were sold out by 9.30am. Seems fair to me if you're the lucky ones to get there in time. Quality of their computer hard drives etc has always been good but we often miss the deals if busy. After sales if you have a receipt they will refund but can't replace as they don't keep special offers in stock.

I think you missed my point. Imagine buying a computer and you put all your work on there. It becomes faulty. You got to take the whole package back.
Of course they sell out. At that price. Like they say,"You get for what you Pay". It is alright for first time buyers i guess.

I think you have to ring Medion as I purchased a laptop from Lidle's many moons ago and they come and collect, was pretty painless.

Hear what you're saying Maxwell, but no matter where you get your computer, if it goes faulty you've probably got to redo your work from timescale alone reason, and I guess most of us have more than one PC to edit on don't we? I usually take 'You get what you pay for' to mean poor quality goods. The quality is not poor though, is it? It's just that they buy and sell a few only of a massively reduced quality item as loss leaders. However, everyone should buy where they feel comfortable and secure, so your choice is right for you and you have made a point which many will find valid.

Sorry not talking about Lidle's. They are a different company and have a different set up. They will replace items and service items from a outside contractor, if faulty.
There is a web page for Aldis and a complains section. Which makes good reading if interested.
