bluray burner?

Beware - I noticed they have changed the web page since yesterday when they were being highlighted as having bluray burners. That was very misleading of Dell.

In the tech specs it turns out to be a DVD burner with bluray read capabilities -
quote
"DVD burner to read/write CD/DVD (DVD+/-RW)
Blu-ray Disc to read/burn CD/DVD and read Blu-Ray disc (DVD+/-RW + BD-ROM)"

regards

Optical Devices

You may well be right! sorry for jumping in but the 1525 only used to have a burner as (quite an expensive) option, but looking around I've seen some sites linking to this as a limited offer (up till 25th feb).

The bit of text I quoted is on the "tech specs" tab on that page, which made me wonder if the burner was an upgrade option, but having looked at the "customise" pages it does seem to say it includes a burner, which makes it very good value.

Sorry to have questioned it but it did seem suspect to me that the "tech specs" description didn't match the initial description.

Any search for a blu-ray burner will present you with a minefield of dodgy specs.
