Over 3 months ago I filmed a band recording a track: their rework of the Doctor Who theme.
It was v.difficult to shoot because I only got 2 attempts at each person in the recording booth, quietly tip-toeing around them!
I edited it immediately but then the edit had to sit around for 3 months as the music copyright was cleared by the appropriate people!
Anyway, here it is:

loved it! D
thanks dominic! i really enjoyed filming this one!
Bit of Gilmour/Mason influence ? ;)
Good stuff
they are BIG fans :)
Great stuff! - nicely done. No where near enough footage of the pretty lady of course.......:)
Great to see such a wonderful mix of old and new kit.
However, I fear they're going to have to do quite a lot of gigs, to pay for that lot!!
What a breath of fresh air to see a group of people with instrument and making some good music. Instead of all those boy bands.
Should this group go on tour i hope the cat will have a part. Surprised that the cat was happy in that environment. Excellent video and music choice.
so glad you like it!
rogs: i'm sure pretty lady would blush at that :)
maxwell: AGREED! ... and yes, all tours need a cat!
Bloody fantastic!
Just bloody fantastic. THANKSMATE!
Aside from a brilliant sound, and homage to Messrs Floyd and Co by the band, the editing was outstanding.
So many folks think a music vid is easypeasy to do, but thats until they have to make sure the shots of the musos doing their stuff are the RIGHT ones!
I rarely sit through the first 30 seconds of anything, but listened and watched this to the end.
Oh, anyone notice the electric and bilogical cat? ;)
thanks so much Ben!!
i'm glad you appreciated the painstaking lining up of instrument playing - 2 first-time takes of each person and the main guitarist played 2 or 3 overlapping guitar sections too! and of course the all-important cat shots too who, IMO, made the whole piece :)
On an end note. Is the Cat the star of the show??? Please could you tell us the name of the 4 legged roadie and mascot .
Thank You
i'll find out.. i seem to remember they were funny names (there were 2 or 3 of them in total, all running around the back of the studio computer and synths...haha 'studio cats', dangerous!) :)
thanks so much Ben!!

Agreed!
Excellent video, I was watching this earlier, and my oldest daughter (Who & Floyd fan) asked if Floyd had done the Dr Who theme.
Love it!
enjoyed the video...and the track...great stuff!!
lol, 'traffic experiment' are gonna love all these floyd comparisons, cheers :)
Only just got to this one. I'm one of the oldie brigade. You know - western and "There was I waiting a the church" type of stuff most times. (Well, sort of). This is a brilliant show filmed in an amazing way. I absolutely loved it. Oh, and I downloaded!
