Hi,
I have very basic skills in terms of web pages so i use the Windows Live package to create my website.
I have some video embeded already using google video, it was an option that the online page editor allows you to do by inserting a HTML module and giving it the id of your video form google video.
I want a better way of doing this, my videos are such low quality when compressed etc.
Does anyone know of a way to embed video into the windows live package which looks proffessional. alot of people seem to mentio flash but i have no knowlege in this.

It's scary stuff and we are all groping about. Just hope somebody sees your post and has had the same problem. Sorry I can't be more helpful. There is a lot of stuff about Flash on this site. Do a search and you should find some useful stuff.
the problem I have with helping you is that no-one I know has used the Windows Live package - dreamweaver etc is a different matter

Agreed. Your best bet would be to use Dreamweaver or similar. Your vid's won't play for me. Was going to download them and create the page in DW with Flash embedded then host it on my site for you to see, then PM you with the details on how it was done. Can you email me a sample video? - Use my google account - foxvideo at gmail.com (replace at with @ ;) )
the first video should play but i know the second doesnt. thats the one that started the whole issue because it wouldnt work.

Just to add that within the windows live package i can add html, so if (and this is where i dont know if im talking rubbish or not) there is some html code that i have to input so things can work etc then it can be done.

right i have dreamweaver cs3 on another pc so if i were to use that to design my site would that be better.
is it all HTML based, in other words if i have no knowledge of html can i use it??

DW is easy to use for basic stuff, ie whether you want to code in HTML directly or work in wysiwyg
the thing is people can point you in the right direction with a popular package like DW

I have found the insert flash video in DW but it asks me to enter the server name app name and instance name????
