Does anyone have any insights into how open the Fuji 3d format effectively is?
Ultimately I'm interested in the camera, but if it means that I wedded to some proprietary format that makes the footage inaccessible in the future, either through lack of support or cost of support, then I'm much less interested.
From what I've read elsewhere in these forums, Panasonic is working with a format that is much more likely to be accessible in the future, an SVCHD based 3d format that is editable in currently available HD editing software suites.
Obviously if that is the case then the Panasonic solution seems much more likely to be the way to go?
Any opinions?
