Hmmmm.. I copied and pasted 2 Vimeo links in my original post....

don't know what I am doing wrong here.... the links are showing up when I am composing my reply...... but they are not visible when I preview the post...

Re: Fort William downhill mountain biking world cup
Okay, I can see the solution (I think).
You have to highlight the text - say, Doogs' video, and then click on the link button and paste in the link into the link window that appears.
Just pasting in the URL alone -
- and what happens?
Nothing.
That makes the following text the link! Strange, but true.
So the way to get it to work - seemingly - is to have a piece of text as the thing to link to - highlight it, click the link button

Re: Fort William downhill mountain biking world cup
Doogs - did you have the HV20 in auto mode or set up in another mode, the close shots look great.

Thanks Bob
Doogs posted a link without issue here
http://www.dvforums.com/forums/encore-cs6-version-final-release-product (and me I hope without any code or pressing of buttons
)

Vimeo link conversions in this forum are the only problem AFAIK, my banking security software was also complaining as well when I was faffing about fixing Doogs vimeo link LOL
