Compared to my much more expensive Heliopan, the Genus is actually much better.
The front element is larger so vignettes less on ultra wide lenses, and the front element rotation is nicely dampened.
Also because it doesn't have end stops like the Heliopan you can rotate it right round 180 degrees and use it in the opposite rotational direction, depending on your preference.

Don't know if you guys know about these but they are very useful and are great value for money.

Basically a three channel XLR balanced mic mixer with phantom power and a balanced XLR output, it also has low cut filters and a headphone/aux mono output, most importantly it can be battery powered.

They are superb quality and similar to juiced link devices etc but at a bargain price.

They seem very cheap, a PMW-EX1R is £587 cheaper than Creative Video, who seem to have the best price on them at the moment.

They come with the Silver Warranty etc and are the same spec.
