Hi All
Does anyone else suffer with Google Chrome freezing all tabs solid after opening a online pdf?
This seems to have been going on the last month or so, malwarebytes has found nil problems
I was away for a week recently and don't recall any freezing problems using BT broadband, it re-appeared when I came back home, maybe I never opened a pdf when I was away?
I've disabled::
Talk Talk's Kids safe, still freezing
Chrome's Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides extension
The two remaining extensions which may be causing the issue are:
Adblock Plus
Rapport
There are plenty of reports of this problem with Chrome going back years and I haven't found the fix for me there.....yet
Any thoughts or similar experiences anyone?

Alternatively perhaps use another browser (eg Firefox)

Many thanks for your input, fingers crossed I am OK now as disabling Adblock Plus seems to have fixed the issue.
However your advice makes perfect sense, as I don't have a Chrome extension to open pdf's
However as the pdf's are opening without freezing Chrome, I will leave well alone for now
If things go awry again I will try your fix and report back. 
I find Chrome great for browsing on my tablet and laptop as my history and bookmarks are kept in synch, very useful
