This may be a stupid question.(YES IT IS)
For the past few months i have noticed no magazine about video making in news-agents shelf.
is this the end?
For the mags, probably. That's why we're still here :)
I picked up the ones available every few issues.
I usually found something basic wrong in all of them , and i have nothing like the knowledge of many here.
Never once did the magazines accept any criticism.
I pointed out 1 similar simple mistake in Computer Active , and got a nice email back saying thanks , and they fixed the caption next time round.
I once fixed a problem in an encyclopedia (Larouse), it wasn't rocket science, they'd simply printed a picture upside down. Nobody's perfect.
Having a new year tidy up and binned maybe a foot high stack of Computer Video.
Sad but it's amazing how far we've come. The stuff from 2000 was out of the ark!

Even Noah kept back-up copies.;)
Not of unicorns, he didn't :)
When you look at the number of photography mags out there, I find it hard to believe there's not a market for even one Video mag. Especially with the growth of new users via Windows movie maker and similar. My dad started about a year or so ago - and he's in his 80's! He loves it.
Sorry to say it is all about money. Keep advertising new products, but dont stick to the true fact of covering faults with the new products or step by step instructions how to do thinks with new software.
There a multiply ways of producing a good video magazine. Take iCreate the Mac magazine. use to come out every 3 months. Now every month and they got a job on what to print and keep repeating the some thing in a roundabout way.
