It's really quite simple. Just run the video out from the breakout box to the video in on your TV or monitor with a composite input. Since I am making DVDs to be shown on a television monitor, it's the only way I edit so I can see what the final output should look like.

It still doesnt work theres something missing there a setting maybe? I have the TV to chanel 4 and the VCR on LINE INPUT so I get a blue screen i can play tapes from the VCR and i can record from the computer/breakout box to the VCR but cant see it on the TV monitor.

On the "Output" tab of the "Advanced Settings" dialog you have to choose either "Analog output" or "Both outputs". Otherwise DV.now won't send any signal to the composite/s-video connectors.
