We are aware that there are a number of issues with the forums currently. To assist the developers in fixing these issues please report them in this forum.
To make it as clear and simple please post a new thread for each issue / bug. This will enable the volunteers tasked with fixing the issues to easily see what problems the users are suffering from.
The developers will try to mark issues as resolved when we believe we have fixed them. This will be done by editing the thread title so it starts with [resolved]. If you feel something that is marked as [resolved] is still an issue please start a new thread for the issue and try to be very specific about the problem so the developers can better understand why their fix is not working for you.
Whenever you report an issue please include as much information as you can about the computer your using. As a minimum please include the browser version your using and the operating system / platform your running. (eg Font is hard to read and not dark enough, Firefox 6, Windows XP) The more information you include the easier it will be for the developers to find and fix the bug.
Finally please remember that everyone running the site is a volunteer, try to be polite when reporting issues. Demanding the issues be fixed will not speed up the process.
In summary...
1 Issue per thread
Include as much information as possible
Be nice!
On this site where there are so many things that need changing there is going to be a grey area between 'bug' and 'need for a design change'. Please don't be surprised if people are confused. For example, there is a time delay when selecting this site, or selecting a topic within it. Is this a fault or feature?
It would help if all the bugs that you already know about were listed.
Also if all the design changes that you intend to make were listed (text, text size, colour scheme, layout, time delay, etc?)
Here's something, however, that definitely IS a bug.
Just below the purple bar across the top which has 'DV' in red and 'forums' in green, there is the word 'Contact' with the word 'Us' beneath it. These words sit on a grey background and interupt the line of text below which gives the routing of the thread.

Another obvious bug (or is a design feature that needs to be changed?) is that I can't edit my own posts.
This and my message above were typed on a computer running Firefox on Windows 98 (SE).

Errr . . . .. I thought I had.
