Inappropriate music?

Inspired by Flame's controversial wedding trailer, I decided for this segment of my new doc to break with tradition and challenge myself and my viewers with music that, at first thought, might not seem appropriate.

Most workout videos are accompanied by loud heavy metal or in the case of female videos, loud funky sexy hip hop. Here's my attempt to be a little different and, I hope, still interesting.

Nice work Mike. The music, especially with the VO in place, worked well.
I could nit pick on my usual subject, but I know you're already aware of this.
My only expectation was a high impact finish to match the closing music crescendo.

Do not follow, I may not lead. Do not lead . . . I may not follow.

Thanks branny. I agree with your usual nitpick...more and more as time goes on. Unfortunately the footage for this particular doc was shot over a year ago and I have to make do. I promise I'm shooting much better now!! :D

Mike, I'm liking this for it's different edge. I think it potentially widens the audiance demographic! In real words I think more people will watch it. Not just gym nuts. If you could have inter cut ballet and or dance sequences with it the comparison would be stronger and that could be something much more powerful (no pun intended) IMHO

I think you are onto something.

That's a great idea! I have to think about that a bit, but that sounds like a great way to really emphasize the concept that I am pushing here.

THIS is one of the reasons that I post here! Great ideas and input from you all!
