INTEL to lay off 1,000 managers, in what could be the first Step to 10,000 reduction

INTEL announced to its employees that it is laying off 1,000 managers. There is widespread speculation in Silicon Valley that this is just the beginning and that a 10,000 reduction in workers is in the cards
