Internal HD Caddy for Sata 3 SSD

As the title says - I tried a Pluscom drive caddy and it simply doesn't work, the SSD is not detected, it may be a sata vs sata 3 issue, but it looks like straight through connections to me - too fiddly to test properly - I found other users complainging the same issue with the IDE version...

so... does anyone have a suggestion? I have a spare bay in the front of my Supermicro case, and I wish to install a caddy that will allow me to swap boot discs - both sata 3 Crucial SSD's - so I can fully compare software on the same hardware setup.

any pointers gladly recieved....

Paul :-)

I'll answer this myself - tidy little Icy-Box fan-less, tray-less 2.5" sata caddy and a 5.25" to 3.5" bay converter - metal, all black looks pretty and works just fine.

Lockable with power and activity indicators too... £25 quid per pair.
