On the Apple stand at expo paris was a dual processing G4 with a Matrox RTMac card running FCP. It was great , well real time.
AfterEffects renders fast on it too, but it wasn't using the Matrox, just the multiprocessing and AltiVec plugin.

From what I've read that RTMac looks really promising. Hopefully Bob & CV will have a review real soon...
