I am using videowave 3 (old version I know) to capture from dv camcorder via firewire, edit and transfer back to camcorder for loss free editing. Works fine except for one major thing. The sound on the captured file is out of sync to the video. Camcorder is set to 48Khz 16 bit. However there is no facility to set the capturing sample rate in videowave. When I look at the properties of the captured files it indicates a sample rate of 32Khz 16 bit. I guess this (capturing a 48Khz recording using 33Khz capture) is causing the sync problem but how can I get around it? Any ideas please.
