I never ever thought I'd do a cheesy love story music video, but when Nikki and I sat down to storyboard the simplistic song of 'Can I Keep You?', I guess we just couldn't resist going down that road :)
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did watching it with friends at a local hired-cinema last night (surreal!)

very nicely done. Esp liked the transition of the still with Mr Silverman into the vid
:)
i'm glad you liked that bit - it wasn't actually storyboarded, but seemed cool enough to make the final cut!
You're gonna hate me for this. I might even end up deleting this post as it's a little pointless if everyone's happy with it.
Some fabulous shots, especially the overhead one and it's very well thought out on pace and scenes.
The song though . . . being honest, it irritated me and I just had to fast forward.
I'm not saying it's not a good song, or badly sung, it just didn't sit tight in the video. It maybe the key she's singing in or the acoustics.
I hope you understand where I'm coming from as seperately, 2 excellent pieces. Together, there's (to me) a broken bond.
hey branny, no worries at all!!! I'm not in the slightest bit offended/affected - and ironically, Nikki KEPT saying 'i wish we had used another song' (because she claims it's not a very good recording, and the tempo slightly changes too)...so maybe you're right! I personally liked the challenge of providing something for a simple acoustic piece, rather than something more complete with drums etc....but def. taken into consideration for next time!
Glad I didn't break any bones :) - Maybe I felt the vibes man lol.
