Don't be disheartened John. I think everyone's in wedding video overload at the moment.

Do not follow, I may not lead. Do not lead . . . I may not follow.

Not sure I'm qualified to comment, haven't done a wedding for 3 years and never got into the 'new style' anyway - I was more 'old school', so nothing personal implied!

I found it slow and dark (foreboding), almost impending doom with that music! Nice chandelier though.

Welsh? Cynghordy?

Hi foxvideo, thx for comment, it put a smile on my face:)

It was a nice chandelier, nearly fell down those stairs though to my demise!

Hi Perproductions, give me some time, I will pm you:)

Not so good handheld this time i'm afraid...i used a Sony HC1 handycam for this:eek:

No weight, hand held, I tried my best......filmed her wedding 10 years ago! she did not want anything larger than this, so had to make do.....

Cheers,

Flame

Sometimes no comments is a GOOD thing! In this case I think it means that no one is finding anything objectionable and by now they expect this quality of work from you and so feel no need to pat you on the back.

This is your usual great work. Nothing groundbreaking. You seem comfortable with your style of shooting. Not really pushing it into new territory with this clip. None of these things are bad! You are now in the long haul of your art where refinements are fewer and subtler. This is a fine clip, well done. But I probably would have watched it and moved on without commenting as well with no offense meant.

Always looking to improve.

Hi Flame,

I liked it. By the end though I was feeling...I dunno.....sea sick? Maybe a little OTT on the glidecam stuff? My favourite 2 shots were the backlit shot of the ring going on, and the closing 'tilt'. Lovely. Mikes right though, a few of the people on these boards (you included) are producing really really impressive stuff.

I'm an admirer of your skill with the moving camera John but find more than a few sequential clips in that style difficult to watch - just my personal taste perhaps. Lovely work though - looking forward to seeing your APV award winning entry!
