Before anyone says it - yes I know the audio (V/O) needs improving - I have invested heavily in better/more audio kit recently - this was filmed a few months ago. Other than that - I would love some feedback.

Thanks.

Liked it Dana, nice easy going style. Loved the shot at 2:09. Monopod? Thought a bit of bridal prep would have improved the story.

I agree, but sadly we were not booked for that. We offer 10 hours coverage and leave it down to the couple how they want to use it. They wanted more in the evening - and what a party we had! It was the right choice for them in the end I think. Sadly none of the wild partying fitted with this clip so will keep it as a surprise for the main event!

I have just realised that in my rush to get editing backlogs cleared I used the 7D Rode vid mic (sync) track for the V/O NOT the grooms Lav mic:eek: Will fix today then replace blog vid. Have checked it and sound quality is MUCH better! Sorry.:o

Dana, I wouldn't bother to post everything twice. I believe most users will simply be looking at "New Posts" or "Today's Posts" (not just particular forums) so they'll see everything you post, whichever forum it's in (and they won't want to see it all repeated?)

This is for your own benefit too: you get all the responses in one place, rather than split into different threads.

Thanks.

Cool beans Martin - will do from now on - stupidly did not know you could search just for new posts - I have been checking each forum in turn!

I see that the vicar is wearing a lapel mic and assume it is feeding the church PA. Have you thought of using a radio mic with the transmitter feed from church PA? You'll porbably need a XLR cross over lead made up with a built in pad to knock it back from line to mic level, but it's worth the extra hassle. I have this set up and have used it countless times in churches and most of the time I get better audio than remote gun mics.

I've also adapted this set up and put a gun mic with the transmitter on the back on small tripod (mono with 3 feet at base actually) close to the action. That also works well if you only have one speaker and can get the mic within 1m.

That's some super-wide as the couple leave in the car. Is that a 17mm on full frame?

Hi Tom - sorry, been off the forums, nose to the grindstone for a while now clearing backlogs. Yes, it is a Tamron 17 - 55mm f2.8 set to 17mm on a Canon 7D.
