Anyone have any video recording experience with this camera? What do its pictures look like etc.
Im considering one as a third camera for a big wide / safety shot at weddings etc.
No audio input required etc, but the costs is appealing.

Wouldn't agree with the "no audio required" as it would be easier to sync the footage at the editing stage.

Now with a PC Specialist Quad Core i7-3770, 16GB RAM, 180GB SSD, GeForce GTX560 Ti Graphics Card, Blu-Ray & DVD R/W Burners and can't wait to set it up. Now up and running.  What a difference in Blu-Ray footage.

Have a look at this reasonable review with video examples.

Note the 30 minute per clip recording limitation.

HI H & M, by no audio, i meant that ive no intention of running my main sound mix to the back of a venue to go onto the safety camera. Its onboard mic will suffice for syncing and wouldnt intend using this audio in the mix anyway. I know that this camera has no mic jack, but that isnt a concern to me on this occasion.

Now it seems sensible to me.  Why don't you check out Colin Rowe's post in the Classified section?

No a wedding guy but the lack of recording time would worry me.

Dunno if you can add a second device to these to overcome the problem?
It used to be a heat problem as well, didn't it?

GH2 can be hacked to overcome the 30 min recording limit, and a whole lot more
