I am new to this and not sure where to go to look if anyone is selling one of these or a second hand camera that I can use for parts. i was advised to register on this site and that lots come up but not sure where to see what is up for sale or trade???

An MS1 is very old and you might be better to buy a working camera that's years younger.
Also try who might be able to get you the bits you need or have a contact
