It appears that Edition 5 can read the .dif files created with DV.now AV, and can load them on the timeline. (have not yet checked the ability to do more with the files). It may yet prove a viable upgrade path from DV.now AV, and the DV.now AV card is listed as one of the trade-in. Edition is derived from one of the old FAST products.
Thanks, as always to dpalomaki for pointing a way possible forward. Is there any later news on the options for DVNOWAV users?
For the past 3 years I have been using the card with Premiere 5.1 under Me. Recently I bought an XP faster system, but realise that I have Fast Forward v1.5 which is listed for all Windows up to Me but not for XP.
Any ideas how I can get the later version now and any drivers needed for the card under XP?
As regards the references on this site to DVNOWAV Pro being sold (in Europe?), has anyone any more information about what this consists of?
This forum has gone very quiet. Are we in shock, or busily setting up new replacement systems?!

As far as I can tell, there is no DV.now AV pro. Premire is probably tryng to migrate people to their Liquid Edition product, which replaced Pinnacle Edition adn Liquid Purple, which may have been based on the FAST Studio product series.
As noted in my other thread post, the latest drivers were 1.75 (from Summer 2002), which provided Premiere 6.5 support.
Is it still possible to get the latest drivers for DVNowAV somewhere ie the 1.75 from Summer 2002. I could not identify with an Internet search?
