I am using Prem. CS4 to convert AVI files to FLV (for You Tube) but there seems to be no way of viewing FLV videos.

What free programme can others recommend to play these files on my Vista machine.
Thanks. Pete

I'm running a web series on youtube at the moment and i have been uploading DVD Quality Mpeg2 although this takes a long time to upload. I was running late on one episode and so uploaded a f4V instead and i can say that the quality was much worse than the Mpeg 2.

Like all video for on-line it all depends on the file size vs quality, I always used to find f4v worse quality than my current preference mp4 or H264.

sorry i didn't make myself clear.
The f4v is better than the mpeg 2 in direct comparrison, on my own website it looks fantastic but its what youtube does to it. It's own internal conversion leaves a lot to be desired
