I have captured clips for a project where the sound was not needed. To save disk space, I deleted the WAV files and kept only the DIF files for video. However when I tried to scrub these clips, Premiere 6 suddenly closed and vanished from the process list without any error messages. I figured that this could be a bug in the codec, so I post here.
When I replaced the audio files with small pseudo ones (audio length not matching video length), the problem disappeared.
This is probably not a serious bug, since I was tampering with the files anyways, but it might be easy to fix. I'm using Premiere 6 with the 1.7 beta DV.now AV drivers.
