Hey all!
I am new to this DV stuff having picked up the DV.now AV package up for a real bargain.

I tried to uninstall Premiere 6.5 and the Dazzle drivers, remove all references from the registry, remove the .inf's, remove the directories, and seach HDD & registry to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I reinstalled Premiere, then the beta drivers 1.7.256b. I made sure to reboot between each. Still, they don't see each other...

I did this using several different combinations of cleaning and installation...nothing :-(

As a last straw before throwing in the towel, I tried this:
Install Premiere
Reboot
Rename the Premiere directory to Premiere 6.0
Install the dazzle drivers
reboot
start ff to make sure all ok...should work...still no premiere in export though :-(
close
start Premiere...and voila...dazzle is there! I can finally capture directly into Premiere.
As an aside, before this last messure, I tried to save as an premiere project from ff but, Premiere wouldn't recongnise the .dif file :0(
Hope this helps!

Further to that...

On a brain storm I scoured the web and scored the 1.75 0264 drivers! After un-installing the old drivers then installing these I finally have capture ability directly in Premiere 6.5.

Question, anyone experience a loss of control over the dv device when using Dazzle's device control over Premiere's?

Thanks!
