?Problem with 1.6 drivers

This wasn't a problem for me before, and I can't be sure that it only started after installing the 1.6 beta drivers, but I can't play the captured clips if Fast Forward properly.

When I try to move to a point in any clip - using the slide bar, HD player, or the mouse controls in the video window - and then play from that point, it returns to the start of the clip.

Not only the clip I'm playing but the first clip in the clip window.

This is very frustrating when I'm trying to check a section of a captured file which is maybe 10 or 15 minutes into it. Tho only way is to play through the whole thing (or open the .dif file in Quicktime).

Anyone else had/not had/solved this problem?

Instead of the HD player, have you tried the Mark Editor to move around in the clip?

PS-
Have you tried the 1.6 release (not the beta)? It's in the DV.nowAV section instead of the beta section.

Respectively, yes and no.

I might try the 1.6 drivers (although the site access is crawling at the minute)

I've contacted Romeo at technical support for further advice.

Many thanks.

Problem went away after installing 1.6 (build 240) version. All that palaver for nowt!

I've posted a new topic so that anyone else using the 1.6 - 224 build knows there is a problem
