Hi! I've got a problem.
I recently purchased a Fast Dazzle DVD.Master card, but when I try it on my system, it prevents the computer from starting! Do anyone knows something about it?
(sorry for my english, I'm italian)

My System: AMD Thunderbird 1100, SDRAM 256MB,
ATI RADEON 32DDR, IBM-45GB U-DMA100, SOUNDBLASTER Live! 1024.

Hi,

I have the same problem, the computer just doesn't want to start when the DVD Master card is inside.

This is the description of my computer:
AMD 1400
Abit KG7-Raid
512 DDR
ATI All in wonder

I tried to disable everything, and just put the DVDmaster, I also changed my graphic card
but it still doesn't work.
I visited many forums and found a message saying that some chipsets didn't work with real-time capture card such as DVC-2(DVDmaster other name).
For them, there is no solution for this problem except bying a new motherboard. The cause is that the AMD-761 or AMD-765 chipset (used by the Abit KG7-Raid) has difficuly in managing the PCI bus master so it causes hangs.
I updated the Bios of my motherboard but it didn't change anything.

Does anybody know a bit more about this problem ?
I will call the Dazzle Hotline once more on monday but I think I will have to bye a new motherboard.

Thank you for your answers.

I didn't solved my problem yet. I've exchanged a lot of e-mails with the Italian division of Fast-Dazzle. It seems that with
Athlon XP it works well, but any other AMD
CPU causes (70% of the time) the computer to hang. How is it possibile to pay about 600€ for a card that forces to change CPU and/or
motherboard without anyone (Fast in particular) knowing how to solve the problem?
