Procoder or Squeeze

Anyone using Sorensen Squeeze to compress for Blue Ray?

Just trying this out (V4.5) as it's claimed to be faster than Procoder but am not impressed. Initially it looks brighter and more "punchy" than the same stuff encoded with Procoder but in fact the gamma is all wrong, dark areas are now jet black and the edges of the white clouds are horribly burn out.

I'm using it's default Blue-Ray settings. I see it uses the Mainconcept codec, am I expecting too much?

I wouldn't trust any software that did a gamma alteration without direct instructions so to do. From my limited experience with Procoder, it makes no alteration to gamma in any mode.

Also EBU Tech.3335 tells how to test cameras, and R.118 tells how to use the results.
