Hi, just finished a rough cut re-edit to a recent clip on here, and am taking a step back to go back later as I guess I see things differently this way.

Without trying to over run this review forum:o , any thoughts, comments appreciated:)

Thank you.

hi Flame,

It works a lot better now that it has been specificly edited to the music, but there is something that still doesn't sit with me. As much as I loath the idea that wedding videos must have a cetain type of song, the music that you used just doesn't sit right to me and I think that would be the case regardless of how it was edited.
I just get the image of neds in blacked out cars with the bass pumping rather than a wedding.
I had a bride who asked for Cascada "everytime we touch" Candle light version which I thought would never work because it was a dance song, but it did and I now have it on my site so I'm always willing to try anything but this doesn't do it for me.
Hope that doesn't sound dismissive as I really like the video.

Hi Lusky. If the music was the only thing that jarred with you, then thats great! it's all personal preference after all, as anything in life!

I like the music;)

have also used cascada, great track!

Thanks for your feedback.

Cheers.

Club music isn't my favorite kind of music but I think it works well here. You know me, I'm for anything that pushes the boundaries a little. Bottom line...did the couple like it? Did it suit them? If so, then it was the appropriate choice.

I must add...your camerawork and editing is still getting better and better!! Such beautiful images, smooth movement and confident editing! I am very impressed! Your artistry kept me interested throughout, even though it was a long clip and the music got a bit tiring to my ear about 2/3 of the way through. However, the images kept me viewing.

This was a bonus separate add on highlights sequence to the couples DVD which they neither requested or had paid for!

I try to go the extra mile and find this lets me have my say with such pieces!

They have only just received the final copy and are ecstatic, their words!:o

Thank you again.

Flame.

That's a lovely piece of editing Flame. Not sure about the music, but as Mike sez...the editing keeps your attention - good stuff. Interesting thing re the highlights. I used to do the same thing, then over the years, let the couples choose. Often wish I'd kept as was. ;)
