I just captured few clips from Canon DM-MV200E and almost all of them have problem with sound. When I play the clip no matter if in Premiere, FastForward or just with a QuickTime player I always hear these disturbing sounds. On wavefront it looks like few frames drop. The crackle has shape of rectangle. I checked the cassete and if I output the signal from the camcorder directly to TV everything is fine.
Maybe it can be related, that I captured audio in 12bit and 32kHz, byt even that sample rate should work fine.
Any suggestions what to do with it?
Got the same problem with a SONY TRV 110, after capturing, video is fine on my TV, computer monitor and camcorder LCD, but on playback, crakling sound all the time in FAST and no sound at all after exporting to Premiere. I used the same equipment under Windows SE without any problem, seems that Windows XP has difficulties with ???
Do you have the latest driver?
Yes, I have version 1.7 Build 0255.
Windows 2000 with SP2 installed.
I will try to borrow diferent camcorder.
Maybe it will help.
I tryed to capture anologue video and it seems fine, without any disturbing sounds.
