Still frames from CS6

I'm new to Prem CS6 (from CS4) and I like the ease of capturing still frames. I am using video in 16x9 format. However when I try to use these still frames as prints they are compressed to about  4x3.  I am told that I must put these stills onto a photo editing programme to restore them to 16x9. This to me seems very odd to have to do with such an advanced programme. Have forum members any observations on this please?   Pete

If you are using the Still Frame in CS6 then you can rescale the still using the Motion/Scale facility in Effects Control.  However I use another Photo editing programme to rescale.

Now with a PC Specialist Quad Core i7-3770, 16GB RAM, 180GB SSD, GeForce GTX560 Ti Graphics Card, Blu-Ray & DVD R/W Burners and can't wait to set it up. Now up and running.  What a difference in Blu-Ray footage.

Thanks for the quick reply. It ties up with what I have been told.
