The title says it all - and hey, Bob, all the work will be done by that underworked advertising department ;)

I don't know about the logistics, because I don't work in CV Towers any more, but that also means I don't care about the logistics.

But it's a very good idea.

I think every specialist publication should do this.

I agree.

This would save me a lot of time flicking through to find a specific advertiser.

How about it Bob?

If you can't afford the space ditch some or all of the buyers guide.

It's a very good idea.

And, the reason why it doesn't happen is the logistics.

Most ad pages come in in their entirety; throughout the mag production process, nobody touches them other than to drop them on the page.

Adding pages numbers is simply too much hassle and also risks buggering up the adverts.

So, I doesn't happen.

VERY few that I know of.

But, that's not in any way relevant.

Take my word on it, NOTHING at all is going to change.

The point, is that your doing so enables me to feed my babies.

Think of it as your one good deed of the month.

I must have been wearing the wrong glasses. I could have sworn they were at the "Dad, have you got the keys to the car?" stage.

...yes but do you know how much it costs Bob every week just to buy the ingredients for Mrs. Chirpy's Thick & Creamy Rice Pudding?

Chirpy's Big Breakfast can be heard on Radio England International. These are repeat shows (he's retired now) played Monday to Friday 8am-12 noon and repeated in the evening from 8pm-midnight. Also, Sunday 8am-12 noon. (Click link to listen) www.onlineradio5.com/2013/06/radio-england-international.html

Yes, and all the other good things, such as prawns in sherry!

And, of course, they are also at the stage Ray says, too, so they eat a LOT more.

Errrr, you don't number the advertisers pages Bob, you work on the basis that your readers can count from the last numbered editorial page!

PC Magazine does it, PC Pro Magazine (with over 300 pages) does it - you know PC Pro Bob, that's the publication that seems to be printing Peter Wells articles and reviews the month before you do!

Just how deep are you going to go in the hole you are digging?

As usual, you are talking rot.

Oh, and since the subject has been raised, you have reached the bottom of the hole you've been digging, I have now covered you up.

You are banned from posting.

What is the matter with you guys on this forum? You seem to be constantly bickering, whereas, in my simple view of life the purpose of such places as this is surely to HELP and to INFORM. How come you people have got so much time to waste arguing over irrelevant issues? I wish I had enough time in a busy working day to waste like that!

Every time I visit this forum i read yet further stuff about people being "banned" or "blocked"

My message is simple, and hopefully agreed with

STICK TO RELEVANT ISSUES, AND GET A LIFE.

If you want to stand on a soapbox and hear the sound of your own "voice" go visit Hyde Park..you will have plenty of fun down there. Some of the petty squabbling that goes on here rivals the stuff that I hear in my son`s school playground.

Also, if Eddie refers to "articles being published one month early" in another mag, that is a statement of fact. Either they are or are not. Which is correct? Should not be dificult to prove either way. May I suggest person proved wrong unreservedly apologises, whoever it is, and then GROWS UP.

Reminder..I use this forum to further my education, and to find answers to problems.

I assume you posted this statement from your soapbox in Hyde Park!

I presume The Lone Ranger - who suddenly appeared (after SIFI's posting) to back up Eddie and then just as quickly disappeared - must have been none other than Eddie Edwardes/nosnehekim/Mike Henson himself!

I wonder who he'll appear as next!!!

The very same thought occured to me Chirpy. I wonder why that is. A complete newbie supporting Eddie staunchly on his first post and with such a meaningful username.
