I have experienced connection/response time problems since about 17:00 hours today. Often my connection attempts were timed out (The connection has timed out - The server at www.dvforums.com is taking too long to respond.). If I was able to connect, responses were very poor, sometimes only returning part of a thread, has anyone else had anything similar?

I forgot to say that I can connect to other servers with no delay.

Just had a timeout a few minutes ago, where I couldn't log on to the forum all, up until then I hadn't had an issue
Maybe Martin who hosts the forum has just reset the server?
Is it still a problem now Tony?
Also have you tried a different browser like Chrome or Firefox as no one else has a problem so far?
If it's a Tennis Elbow issue, it's overdue for a new game as we are over 100 posts

Thanks John, I use Firefox - no, it's not a Tennis,Elbow issue. The problem was with general forum access; as I posted above, I can access BT Yahoo and other forums almost instantly. I take the prod about Tennis,Elbow, and I will restart it in the near future. Tony C.

Can you try a speed test, Iplayer has a good one, maybe this will highlight any local issues?

Had the same problem about one hour ago. Seems to have settled down now. Can access forum at speed which i'm accustom too.

Martin found a server bug and fixed it
I still have a slight lag after clicking a thread, the longer threads open up very quickly now

System clock? This reply was posted at 09:30 am so the clock is 16 minutes slow approximately

I'm getting sixteen minutes slow today at 1134GMT.
But server response noticeably quicker today.

Test from me - forum's real time clock seems accurate to me too.
