can i use the dv.now av with pentume II 450MHz ?

Yes you should be able to. I had it on my Pentium II 350 and it worked on it, with an Intel BX chipset, Voodoo 3 2000, scsi cd recorder, and Windows 98.
I now have it on my 1 gig machine.

I used my dv.now.av for capturing on
a AMD K6/2-500.
If you are capturing on .AVI format,
a 5400 rpm hardisk can do the job.
If you intend to transfer dv format,
then you need at least a 7200 rpm HD.
But for conversion of the .avi/.dif to
mpeg would be slow on these machines.
A conversion from .avi to mpeg1-vcd
will be in the ratio of 1:7
where-else with a AMD athlon 1.2 it will be in the ratio of 1:3.
