Ulead has recently undergone a number of changes. We would like to update you about our current status and our relationship with InterVideo.

Ulead Systems, Inc. is a public company and is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE:2487). In April of this year, InterVideo, Inc. (NASDAQ: IVII), acquired 62.4 per cent of Ulead shares.

With majority shareholder status, InterVideo assumed a leading role on the Ulead board of directors. Steve Ro, chairman, president and CEO of InterVideo was elected chairman of the Ulead board of directors. Lewis Liaw, formerly president of Ulead’s US subsidiary, now serves as president of Ulead. Ulead’s previous chairman and CEO, Way-Zen Chen, has retired.

Ulead has now begun to integrate its product and technology development efforts with those of InterVideo. Our strengths in professional DVD authoring, video editing and still image processing complement InterVideo's tools.

Working with InterVideo, author of WinDVD - the world's most popular software solution for watching DVDs on a PC - strongly enhances our capabilities to address emerging and rapidly-growing markets including multimedia home networking, HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc technologies and multimedia mobile phones.

At Ulead, we see significant opportunities for synergies going forward in our relationship with InterVideo. We look forward to growing our business rapidly and profitably. We hope that our customers and partners share this enthusiasm and will continue to support our efforts to deliver software empowering users of all levels to easily and affordably personalize, manage and share digital content.
