Using Firewire HD on MAC and PC

Hello all,

Having great fun with a VST 85GB external firewire drive. I can format it for Mac on a Mac.
I can format it for DOS also on a Mac, but it only recognises the disk as a 12.5 GB HD.

I can then take it to a PC which will recognise the 12.5 GB, which I can then delete the partition and format it to 85 GB, BUT only in NTFS which will not work with a MAC! GRRRRRRR

Anybody know of a little program to help a fast balding man?

TIA

Hi
Here's a link to a post on Creative Cow spelling out the pitfalls of Mac/PC drive swapping... http://www.creativecow.net/forum/read_post.php?postid=103930335175973&forumid=8

Ouch that hurts.

The software I run on the Mac is Sports Code Pro, and when I tried to install OS X.0.3 it spat the dummy, and I ended up with much stress.

Looks like my great idea just bit the dust.

Thanks anyway
