Using UDMA33 & UDMA66 drive together

I have a 4.3GB UDMA33 HD and a 27.3GB UDMA66 HD. If I have a motherboard capable of UDMA66, would the 27.3GB HD have to run at UDMA33 to accomodate the slower 4.3GB HD? Or can the two standards run happily together, perhaps on different IDE Channels 1 & 2, UDMA33 on Channel 1 and UDMA66 on Channel 2?

Hi Gerrard,

The drives will work fine together (at full speed) on separate channels. IMHO this is how you will want them for video work.
